STORIES OF HOPE & HEALING

Animal Chiropractor in Vancouver, Washington

Meet Missy 🐈‍⬛

It took months to find a pet chiropractor because our two Persian rescues, Shasta and Missy, did not walk naturally and the young male, Mr. Fluffington, had a bladder infection. Knowing how humans are helped by chiropractor, we were also aware that they did held the same magic with animals.

Shasta’s, 5 years old, tail was curved unnaturally resembling a husky dog’s tail.  She walked slowly and skittish with her back end lower than her shoulders. She did not jump on or off furniture. She hid in the closet for weeks.

Missy, 15 years old, paws made a loud stiff thump sound when she walked.  Her hips looked locked up. She constantly licked her fur, pulling it out on her neck and hip area. (Indications of trying to soothe pain areas.)  She too hid in a closet to avoid interactions.

The cats were relaxed in Dr. Haley’s hands. It was as if they knew she was about to help releive their pain. The results for all three cats was immediate and dramatic. Right after their appointments their ‘posture’, health and spirits improved.

Shasta’s tail is no longer curved. She carries it high and proud like a normal cat. She walks gracefully and is no longer slouched in pain. Dr. Haley aligned Shasta’s lower vertebra and neck. A human with her misalignment would walk with difficulty and pain and they would go to a chiropractor.  No wonder she avoided touch.

Mr. Fluffington began jumping on and off furniture in Dr. Haley's office with ease. Whatever was hurting his spine was corrected. The vertebrae above his bladder was out. No wonder the nerves to his bladder were not purr-forming right.

It was discovered that senior Missy’s lower spine was locked up and her neck was out. She is now jumping up and down on the bed which is new for her. Her muscles are strengthening. She no longer ‘thumps’ her paws hen walking. She used to hide under furniture and now comes out and insists on playing with her teaser toy.

Both Shasta and Missy now walk with grace. They both stand taller and appear longer aligned and out of pain. Shasta's facial expression changed, she now looks relaxed not scrunched in pain.

We noticed that Missy could only open her mouth 1/8" to eat or take medicine. She also ate sparingly.  Dr. Haley adjusted Missy’s locked up jaw and now Missy opens her mouth an inch. When Missy returned home she marched over to the food and played bulldozer for the first time since she arrived at our home.  I have heard of zoo and farm animals and race horses and dogs being treated by an animal chiropractor.  It is a blessing that Dr. Haley has the skills to help our cats. My husband and I have changed our chiropractor, to our pet's chiropractor LOL, based on how we saw Dr. Haley helping on our cats.  Her intuitive hands and gentle nature and results are apparent.
